Karan Khemka: A Visionary Leader in Education
Karan Khemka is a Partner at EMK Capital, where he oversees the EMK Accelerate team with a strong focus on investing in education businesses. He was the founder of the education consulting practice at Parthenon Group, which was later acquired by EY to become EY Parthenon. Under Karan’s leadership, EY Parthenon became the pre-eminent strategic advisor to the global education sector, developing high-value research products and consulting services that transformed educational institutions and businesses worldwide.
Karan’s expertise spans a wide array of educational sectors, including higher education, K-12, vocational training, government-funded programmes, and Pre-K. He has completed projects in over 30 countries, including China, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia, the UK, and Latin America. His work in international market entry strategies and high-impact educational solutions has earned him recognition as a thought leader in the field.
